Havenbridge is to close on Monday night after rush hour so engineers can work on it. So hopefully that will be the end to the traffic misery that’s been caused due to the broken bridge. However Norfolk County Council is warning motorists the bridge may not be open in time for rush hour traffic the next day, with a worst case scenario seeing a 48 hour period of the bridge not being open. There are plans for five overnight closures. The closure has led to disruption for tourists and businesses. A spokesman has said there will a signed diversion and a shuttle bus service for pedestrians.
