16 Sep Yarmouth is ready for festive weekend
Summer holiday may have ended but Yarmouth is still buzzing with tourist and local activities throughout the town.
But this weekend is special for Out There Festival arranged by Sea Change Arts. It has become a yearly attraction for the town which draws in thousands of tourists every year for these fun-filled street performances.
Out There Festival is starting from Friday 7pm onward till Sunday. Like every year, Sea Change Arts has prepared their pitches around the town, starting from Marine Parade, Trafalgar Square, Trafalgar Road, Sealife Gardens, South Jetty Car Park, Drill House, Market Place and St. George’s park.
The genesis behind Out There was always about building an event to extend the town’s tourism offer and celebrate its rich international nature which they continued very well for the past 8 years.
This year the festival is presented in partnership with Greater Yarmouth Tourism and Business Improvement Area Ltd (GYTABIA).
The Out There Festival is very much a celebration of this, bringing a mix of mirth, mayhem and world class culture onto the streets of Great Yarmouth for everyone to ENJOY.
At a time when BREXIT remains the phrase on everyone’s lips, Sea Change Art continue to bring the wealth of international talent to communities here in Great Yarmouth.
I would like to encourage everyone to get Out There and enjoy a late-summer festival. Harbour Radio volunteers will also be in the crowd enjoying the fun-filled events, why not join us? Keep eyes on our Facebook Page, you never know, we may capture you in the crowd too!
